About the role

The security Designer will work within the Security Design CoE on tasks as required. Typically you will be responsible for:

Duties & responsibilities

• Operating to Bank Policies,standards,Guidelines and ensuring that solutions adhere to technical security controls requirements, advising on how they should be applied, and following procedures and protocols.
• Delivery of robust designs in line with Bank requirements.
• Working with assigned projects teams to understand and deliver objective project outcomes. 
• Development of security guidelines or patterns.
• Working with security findings and risk management tools and framework.
• Assist with other Security Design responsibilities as and when they evolve over time. 

Skills & Experience

• • Strong technical experience in at least oneof the following security domains:
    • Infrastructure Security
    • Network Security
    • Endpoint Security
    • Data Security
    • Web, Messaging and Cloud Security
    • Application Security
    • SIEM
    • Identity and Access Management
    • Cloud Security
  • Previous experience with architecting and/or designing security services to business requirement and within the risk appetite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experiencing working in project delivery
  • Experiencing operating in waterfall and agile project delivery life cycles

Highly Desirable:                                                   

• Experience leveraging knowledge management and fulfilment tools (Project Management tools, Confluence, Jira and Stash)
• Experience with applying Design Thinking and Service Design concepts
• Scripting and programming skills
• Experience working in financial services and/or large enterprise environments
• Experience working in a consulting role
