Opening 30 October 2018, Northern Beaches Hospital will be a fully licensed private hospital, providing care to public and private patients from an outstanding facility with a large range of quality services provided by exceptional nurses, doctors and staff.

As the Information Technology Coordinator you will make an impact by providing technical support and assistance across the hospital.


Key responsibilities:
  • ensure issues/requests are resolved or escalated within the expected documented SLA’s
  • support of a comprehensive range of services that develop and improve the use of Information Management and Technology onsite
  • rectify common problems, this includes systems and infrastructure issues.
  • undertake the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems
  • provide desktop and mobile support in a fast paced environment
  • Hardware setup/builds and deployment of software
  • work with a range of stakeholders to identify, advise and develop opportunities for improved service delivery

You will bring to our high-performing team:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in supporting, trouble shooting and resolution of issues relating to desktop support functions
  • Ability to install, test, and configuration of workstations/laptops, software, phones, and peripheral equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring backup, recovery, and data restoration from workstations/laptops for clients during upgrades or problem diagnosis
  • Track record of working with IT Infrastructure team and 3rd party vendors to resolve computer and/or application performance issues
  • Proficient in both project and change management process
  • ITIL certification (V3 or more)
  • Experience with ITSM processes
  • Experience and excellent understanding in the following technologies:
    • Windows 7 and 10, Office 2010 and 2016
    • WebEx, Arkadin, Skype for Business and other collaboration/video conferencing technologies
    • IP Based PBX systems
    • iOS and Android mobile devices and MDM solutions
    • Imaging and Client management tools such as SCCM
    • CITRIX XenApp/XenDesktop and thin client technologies
    • Active Directory, including Security and Group Policy configuration
    • WAN/LAN/Wireless technologies
  • Sound customer service and support skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of hospital environment systems and procedures will be well regarded
