An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior IT System / Network Engineer to join a successful IT Integrator / Managed Serviced firm in Newcastle who are looking to expand their 50 strong team.

Career progression, on going training and development and flexible working conditions are on offer! 

• Design, deliver, upgrade, migrate and deploy technical infrastructure solutions across multiple complex environments. 
• Provide level 3 escalation support as well as providing leadership and mentoring junior staff.
• Heaps of projects and diverse technologies / environments to keep you interested! 
• Infrastructure & cloud project implementations

Ideal Skills

• Strong experience with Windows servers
• Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365
• Citrix - Xenapp / Xendesktop 
• VMware / Hyper-V
• Enterprise Networking - design, implementation and support (Juniper, Cisco or Fortigate experience essential)
• SAN and DAS Storage and backup management  
• UCS chassis and blades (or similar) and Nimble storage (or similar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working within a SI/MSP as a billing resource is mandatory
• Industry qualifications ideal-  MCITP, CCA, VCP, CCNA
