We are a fun, vibrant, creative agency looking for an experienced mid-to-senior developer with solid PHP back-end skills.
You will be part of a small development team heading up big and exciting projects for a large variety of local and international clients.
We have monthly Friday lunches (paid for by the boss), massages (2 a month), great views and a bright office.
Must haves:
- Excellent client interaction
- Excellent English
- 4+ years solid PHP and MySQL experience
- Experience with multi-site roll-outs and integration with 3rd party services
- Database design experience + experience with advanced SQL queries
- Collaborate with front end developers and designers to identify and solve challenging problems
- Experience with version control system (GIT/SVN)
- Experience with CMS systems, particularly Drupal and WordPress
- Front end technology knowledge such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, Javascript
- A detailed understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Server-side knowledge of hosting/domains
- Must have a passion for the "user experience" and developing trends
- Ability to test and debug your own work
- A solid portfolio and links to active sites that you've collaborated on
Essential skills:
Depending on experience, the applicant would be expected to have experience of the following:
- Demonstrated ability and experience implementing, configuring and customising a web content management system.
- Demonstrated ability and experience working with current best practices and technologies for front end web development such as HTML, CSS, PHP, JQuery.
- Demonstrated ability and experience working with one or more server-side web development toolsets such as the LAMP stack
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), influencing and presentation and report writing skills
