About the Position
Your team is composed of Systems Administrators, Technical Analysts and other Technology staff members.
As a member of the Infrastructure & Applications Team your responsibilities will include the installation, management, maintenance, support and optimisation of the organisation's server infrastructure, applications & integrations, Cloud and SaaS.
The removal of manual steps through automation frameworks will be a focus, your role could also include the support of Robotic Process Automation and third party platforms.
In your new role you will be responsible for technical leadership and metoring members of your team in automation, Infrasructure as Code and agile best-practices. Your technical expertise will also support the wider Technology Team with project work and help-desk support.
It is an expectation that all team members participate in an on-call roster for level 3 support and security incident response.
About you:
- Well established, relevant IT Networking experience
- Bachelor-level Information Technology related qualifications. E.g. BS in Compute Science/Engineering
- Applicants with proven incidental experience will also be considered
- Strong hands-on Operating Systems experience (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Strong Application Support experience (Exchange, Citrix, others)
- The desire & ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure problems
- Strong project management skills including contingency and rollback mindset
- Able to quality assure all work to a high standard
- The ability to see the 'big picture'
- Strong hands-on Operating Systems experience (networking, security, etc.)
