About the Role:

The primary purpose of the role is to provide technical business as usual (BAU) SAP Basis Administration support and advice.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator, you will:

• Perform day to day monitoring and daily checks as part of a duty desk roster
• Perform complex problem resolution of notified client service difficulties in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)
• Provide SAP Basis administration services to external and internal clients as defined in SLA’s and Operational Level Agreement’s (OLA’s), including identifying and communicating potential risks to delivering to agreed service levels and making recommendations.
• Support the team environment by proactively sharing knowledge with group members through informal/formal interchange, workshops and documentation
• Undertake system performance analysis of operational client environments, report and recommend appropriate tuning and infrastructure configuration changes
• Liaise and build positive and productive working relationships with internal and external clients to provide SAP Basis administration services and advice in accordance to SLA’s and OLA’s, including identifying and communicating potential risks to delivering to agreed service levels, and developing recommendations

Skills and Experience:

High level knowledge and experience is highly regarded in at least one of each of the following applications, databases and operating systems:

• SAP ECC5/6/HANA
• SAP Netweaver
• Java
• Oracle
• MS SQL Server
• DB2
• Unix
• Windows Server
