At Modis, we're always on the lookout for the right people. We’re seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to work with a public sector client in the education space.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for vendors / Operational Applications team to implement.
• Identify and document technical application requirements.
• Provide relevant feedback to internal teams and promote principles of continuous improvements.
• Engage with key stakeholders and systems owners to define business requirements and systems goals.
• Identify and resolve system related issues.
• Identify requirement gaps and issues during project activities and escalate as required.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of project and system documentation, and user manuals.
• Provide best practice operational experience to ensure systems are applied appropriately in the production environments
• Prepare and execute test strategies, plans and scripts as appropriate

Experience Requirements

• Experience in Integrated Information Manager providing support services, business and systems analysis and application service management.
• Experience in application administration, monitoring, support and resolution.
• Extensive experience translating business requirements.
• Exposure to Time Tabling software tools like Syllabus Plus or CELCAT in current or past roles will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to software tools StudentOne or Learning Management System(LMS) or Education Sector experience will be highly regarded.
• Excellent analytics and problem solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skill required.
• Time management and strong documentation skills.
