Our client is looking for SAP Help Desk Support Analyst based near Mascot.  
You will provide technical/helpdesk support for the Groups specific IT systems across finance, marketing and other business functions, in order to solve problems answer questions and just generally help out those who aren't IT gurus or use the systems as part of their job but outside of working with it may not understand how to get the information they need out if it.
You are the first point of contact for an issue across the board.
Technically speaking the environment encompasses:
  • SAP - specifically  SD, MM, FICO and CO PA modules.
  • EDI such as ASN etc.
  • Qlikview and general Business Intelligence / Data Visualization

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing help desk support to undertake the development of business requirements, business process improvement, process mapping and design.
  • Track and document changes to functional and business specifications, including planning and preparing technical reports and instructional manuals and completing or assisting others in the writing of user documentation, instructions and procedures.
  • Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests
Key Skills Required:
  • Solid SAP Help Desk skills.
  • Understanding of any Business reporting visualization tools
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organisation
  • A positive and truly want to help attitude. As at times you might be asked to help in an area outside of your scope to offer advice or assist in the last stages of an internal project off the ground on time!
  • An understanding of ABAP skills would be highly advantageous but not as crucial to the role as your team player" attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and interact with users and train others.
