The client is a well known Advertising and Marketing company based in the Eastern Suburbs. They are looking for a Business Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a customer facing role, responsible for gathering and defining functional and technical requirements in regards to the solution the client offers.
Key responsibilities:
- Define business requirements, process/workflow mapping/analysis and process redesign.
- Define application process design, functional and technical design documents for “as-is” and “to-be” system processes in line with identified requirements.
- Gather functional requirements for system integrations
- Validate and map to-be processes to software development items.
- Ability to liaise with on & off shore developers.
- Define test scope, write test cases and conduct unit, system and integration testing.
- Report testing results to key project stakeholders.
- Responsible for work-stream defect management activities post cut-over in collaboration with business users.
- Maintain and prioritise backlog items for current and future sprints.
- Participate in iteration planning, review and retrospective sessions.
- Be highly adaptable with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Key criteria:
- At least 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience designing professional requirements documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Previous experience in a customer/client facing role
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Experience with IT system integrations
- Experience with testing and test management
- Experience with project planning
