A leading banking organisation is seeking a Project Officer to join a large program of work.
Your new company
Our client is a leading, top four banking institution who, due to increased project activity is looking for a motivated and experienced Project Officer.
Your new role
Reporting directly into the Project Manager, you will proactively support and provide assistance across all project management processes with key responsibilities including:
- Effectively manage financial forecasts, actuals, reporting and management - for monthly reporting and for input into Gate submissions and Board funding requests.
- Assist the PD/PM in the successful delivery of project scope to agreed cost and timelines
- Effectively manage PMO deliverables with project stakeholders
- Management of PPM activities including Project Status reporting
- Assist with completion of Steering Committee Packs and completion of meeting minutes
- Collaboration within the program, sharing insights, learnings and new ways of doing things
- Subject matter expertise in PPM and Ariba
What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success you will have demonstrate the following;
- 3-6 years relevant experience
- Knowledge in Project and Portfolio Management
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in using Ariba would be valuable
