• Provide technical guidance and thought leadership in programming and software development.
• Lead the development of code based on client requirements in alignment with standards and object-oriented methodologies.
• Oversee/ develop unit test plans leveraging automated test approaches (eg. JUnit).
• Plan and lead the deployment of AEM applications across multiple platforms within large/distributed client environments.
• Provide expertise in configuration and administration of Adobe AEM environments
• Installation and configuration of author and publish AEM instances
• Configuration of publishing queues
• Installation and configuration of Apache HTTP and the Dispatcher module
• Define and implement Dispatcher caching rules
• Configure URL mapping in AEM
• Promote and drive the adaptation of new AEM technologies such as Sightly
• Configure project build setup using Maven
• Oversee and lead the creation of AEM bundles and components
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of project documentation and detailed design documents.
• Resolving escalated defects - the tough ones!
• Lead Quality Assurance reviews and the implementation of findings.
• Ensure tasks are undertaken within budget and to the allocated time-frame at the appropriate level of quality to achieve client requirements.
• Act as a key point of escalation for appropriate technical issues and prepare reports as appropriate.
• Mentor a small team of software engineers/ developers.

• Experience in a consulting position, working within large/complex and distributed client environments.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations in relation to programming and software development.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Experience and proficiency in standard project management approach/es and documentation with a focus on agile delivery.
• Ability to effectively report and manage or escalate risk(s), issue(s) and defects.
• Experience in the management of a small team of IT professionals. (Desirable)
