What we require from you?

Experiencing steady growth over the last three years, the business has decided to bring the Systems Administration function in house. The primary focus of this role is to support our Employee base of 80+ across two locations in Melbourne and provide assistance to our team in the USA when required. Being the first point of contact for all technology queries, you will provide an exceptional customer service to our internal and external stakeholders. A solutions orientated individual will see you persevere until an optimal solution is reached not matter how big or small the issue.

Whilst taking a proactive approach to maintaining Business Hardware and Software to deliver reliable systems, you will also have the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems across a variety of hardware devices and software platform. To be successful in this role, you have exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain highly technical concepts to non-technical people in a respectful and mentoring manner.

As a Digital Technology Consultant, you will be versed in using a ticketing system to log, prioritise and manage work to ensure timely resolution of all issues whilst driving business efficiencies.

You will be proficient in the following;

  • Windows and Linux environments
  • Network knowledge of DNS, WAN, VPN,
  • Exposure to okta
  • Microsoft applications (including Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Sharepoint). 
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, Switching, Firewalls, Wifi and VPN systems. Use of  monitoring / alerting systems
  • Experience with SIP/VOIP PABX systems and POE networking
  • Servers: Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, DNS, Citrix

 

Ideally you will possess a driver’s license to be able to drive to various locations, when required.
