Solution Architect - 12 month contract - Sydney based
Our client are searching for a strong senior architect to join their application and business systems team on an ongoing project.

The successful incumbent will join and be responsible for strategic alignment of solution architecture with a focus on web & mobile applications.

Essential responsibilities:

• Responsible for technical solution design, ensuring;

1. Solutions meet the needs of the business (both functional and non-functional)
2. Present options and recommendations for the solution
3. Ensure the solution is maintainable for vendor upgrades and software maintenance
4. Design Authority and Business Solution Architecture Domain forums
5. Contribute to the development of Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy and Roadmaps.
6. Review and sign off architectural and design documents including technical specifications.

Experience: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a solutions architect
• Minimum 5 years in software design and development experience
• Currency in information technology through a combination of experience, education and membership in industry groups
• Strong Interpersonal and Stakeholder Management skills
• Excellent influencing & negotiating skills
• Good understanding of Web, Mobile, Data, BI, Reporting, Integration and emerging technologies.
