Our main programming language is PHP but we will take on board engineers proficient in any of the web languages. Because we are starting up you are in a prime position to shape the future tech stack for the next product iteration to use cool technology such as GO, Node, React, AWS etc. and have fun doing it.

Requirements

• Web development experience using LAMP stack or similar web technologies
• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages
• Possess strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, especially in PHP
• Experience with Node.js, ReactJS, Golang
• Experience with engineering high performance data cache for search is a plus
• Proficient with database design, optimization and tuning in MySQL, Memcache
• Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation techniques (Selenium WebDriver)
• Experience and have built solution hosted on Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Redshift, etc.)
• Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence
• Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery
• Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, team player and a sense of humour.
