About the role
As a Junior Town Planner, you will be based at our Heatherton, Vic office, working within an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team. Reporting to the National SAED (Site Acquisition Environment and Design) Manager, and delivering town planning functions for existing telecommunications facilities, as part of the SAED program delivery for our clients. Duties will include;
- Provide informed planning advice and consult with clients and their representatives
- Conduct Environmental Desktop Assessments and Constraints Analysis
- Prepare and attend site scoping visits,
- Manage the Statutory and Environmental Town Planning process for multiple sites to the agreed project schedule
About you
The successful candidate must possess excellent organisational skills, an ability to prioritise and exceptional communication skills. Requirements for this role include:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Town Planning
- Must be able to work within a high paced project environment and be willing and adaptable to take on multiple tasks
- Telecommunications experience (desirable)
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Possess and maintain a can-do confident attitude.
