About the business
Come and join a telecommunications business experiencing rapid growth and success. Based in Geelong with over 12 staff, we supply and service clients from the Western suburbs of Melbourne through to South Western district of Victoria.
About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated Technician that is mature minded and well organised, whom specialises in the installation and technical support of business telecommunications solutions, including phone systems and associated network hardware and products including VoIP, SIP, data, internet and voice solutions.
This is a customer facing role and you will need to possess a positive attitude with a firm focus on customer service and satisfaction with an approachable and friendly nature. You will need to be a team player.

Skills and experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry.
- Experience in IP telephone systems either NEC or Ericsson LG is essential.
- Proactive in trouble shooting and solving technical issues.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- The ability to clearly articulate yourself with your peers and to our clients
- A criminal history check is a requirement of this job as we work for Vic Police and Department of Education.
- Desirable, but not essential: Experience with; CCTV, Wifi, Video Conference, configuring routers and switches
