This is an opportunity for passionate Test Automation Engineers and Developers in Test to represent Revolution IT on high profile projects with our major clients. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong project experience of at least 4 years in Test Automation preferably using Java as the main programming language. We are looking for Engineers who have previously created a Serenity BDD framework using either Rest-assured, Cucumber BDD, Jbehave, JUNIT. A background in development is highly desirable but not essential as long as your coding skills are strong. 

We are looking for Professionals with a versatile approach, demonstrating a consulting mentality in order to work with a variety of teams and stakeholders in a challenging project environment. You will be proactive with a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills. 

We have multiple roles within the Automation space - Junior/Mid Level, Engineer Level and Leads. 

Role requirement:

• Confident in setting up Automation Test Frameworks (must be confident in coding and scripting in Java).
• API Automation experience using Rest-assured, Cucumber, BDD, JBehave or JUNIT.
• Providing thought leadership in test automation/TestOps.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS or TeamCity
• Attend and actively participate in daily stand-ups, and conduct estimations of stories for each sprint.
• Attend and contribute to technical and spec design reviews.
• Execute end to end automation test cases, track results, and log defects.
• Must have Agile testing experience 

Role Deliverables: 

• Developing, maintaining, and improving automation frameworks.
• Developing and executing Automation Test Plan
• Building of Automation Scripts
• Setting up the Test Data
• Execution of Automation Scripts
• Completion report
• Delivering training to staff (formal and informal)

Essential Skills

• Background as a Java Developer, or strong Java coding skills.
• At least 4 dedicated years of test automation experience, setting up and/or maintaining and improving automation frameworks. 
• Proficient and experienced in the use of Selenium Web Driver.
• Experience in Web Services and Rest API automation.
• Good understanding of BDD and TDD frameworks.
• Experienced in writing automation scripts.
• Experience in testing in environments that adopt an Agile development methodologies.
