Our client is a globally leading retailer who has a large presence in Australia. They are looking for an Integration Lead for their new Mulesoft iPaaS to join and lead a new integrations team within IT.
This role is initially for a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) of 12 months as it is project funded. If the candidate is the right fit, our client will offer permanency from second year onwards and the successful candidate will be eligible for the short term incentive program and other benefits that are entitled to a permanent employee of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure key integration flows and APIs utilising Mulesoft iPaaS are performing optimally with minimal to no downtime
- Ensure APIs are designed, built and documented for reuse depending on the business functionality they provide
- Provide subject matter expertise for the design and development of new integration flow requirements and platform capability
Key skills required:
- Practical experience in design and developing integration and API services using Mulesoft CloudHub and Mulesoft API Gateway
- Extensive development experience using HTML, Java, Javascript, Webservices, SOAP, REST, WSDL, RAML definitions and testing using JUnit and MUnit
- Experience working in a DevOps environment as a team leader, mentor and developer utilising continuous deployment (CD) and continuous integration (CI) tools
- The ability to articulate and document functional and non-functional requirements when developing an integration or API service
- Supported, maintained and governed integration flows and APIs developed in-house and projects
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration engines (Kubernetes, Swarm etc.)
