About the role

We require a highly motivated and customer focused Level 2 /3 Support Engineer to provide remote and on site support and solutions to our medical and corporate clients.  This role is suited to an IT professional with strong customer service skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of staff through to senior management

You will be providing on-site and remote support for our corporate, general practice and medical specialist clients, and working on site assisting our primary engineers to provide professional services to our clients in south east Queensland and northern NSW. 

You should have 3-5 years' experience working in a help desk or other IT role, with strong communication skills and a keen interest in learning.

The successful candidate must be able to handle stressful situations and people with ease and good humour. 

You should be able to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy. 

Excellent phone manner and ability to talk to people with no understanding of IT are critical skills for the role, and as we use remote support applications for much of our work, strict confidentiality of client information is essential.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will need the following attributes:

  • Thorough understanding of current Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
  • Experience with Active Directory Services
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, protocols and troubleshooting
  • Ability to multitask and provide reliable follow through of support tasks
  • Attention to detail with regards to billing and documentation 

Highly regarded skills:

  • Experience with Apple hardware and operating systems
  • Familiarity with Connectwise Manage
  • Familiarity with SolarWinds  MSP N-Central
  • Experience in medical/ health care IT

The successful candidate will be required to complete a police check.
