...is looking for a DevOps consultant to join their team. Are you excited to work with clients on transforming
their development and infrastructure teams to become cloud native? If yes, keep reading.
The Role
You will be working with our customer’s development and infrastructure teams in implementing a cloud native migration strategy. The tasks you will be responsible for are containerising applications, setting up cloud
infrastructure, installing Kubernetes, implementing monitoring tools and configuring CI/CD pipelines. Projects are delivered in collaboration with the client and their teams to lead to a successful go live. We expect you to
be hands-on, curious, eager to troubleshoot problems and to suggest and implement solutions. If you have a development background that would be highly desirable. Depending on your previous experience we will be providing you training first off-site to perform the tasks mentioned above.
What can you expect from Darumatic?
We will provide you with a lot of exposure to a lot of OpenSource technology and, the opportunity to work autonomously and within a team that supports each other. We specialise in Kubernetes and this is an opportunity to understand how Kubernetes works at a very detailed level. In the long run the role can be extended to get more involved in the overall architecture. Currently our clients are based in the Sydney CBD area, as our client base grows this might change over time.
What we expect from you?
A team player attitude, a friendly and open minded personality, curiosity about new and old technologies and to be able to work focused towards outcomes. Ideally you have experience using Bash, Ansible, Linux, Docker
and some programming experience in Java, Python, .NET or NodeJS. There is no fixed requirement regarding your work experience as long as you’ve had exposure to the technologies mentioned previously and are excited about learning more and new technologies. Your remuneration will depend on your current skill set and your ability to start working on our projects.
