We seek a motivated Town Planner to form part of our growing, innovative and dynamic town planning team. This role will be based in our Brisbane office and will entail a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- In depth planning analysis and research
- Assisting in the preparation of planning studies, strategic advice, development applications and planning proposals
- Actively promoting the company and involvement in business development activities
Applicants will ideally have:
- Experience preparing development applications
- Analytical skills to determine planning issues and provide solutions
- A developing understanding of the Planning Act 2016, the Development Assessment Rules, the application of planning schemes and related legislation
- High level communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of relevant software programs
- Tertiary education in town planning (GPA minimum of 5 is desirable)
- Current driver’s licence
- Enthusiasm and commitment to being part of a leading team of planning professionals.
