We are looking for a talented graphic artist with natural artistic ability. You will be working closely with our head designers – hence your ability to follow directions is important. The majority of the role will also require independent time management to keep on top of our POS requirements for stores, linebook/catalogue development, website management and general graphic art requirements throughout the year.
Important to this role is your strong Photoshop, Illustrator and in-design skills (on windows based machines). Your excellent time management, team approach and ability to work autonomously is also crucial to the role. Must have ability to draw
We ideally would like someone who is passionate about Australia's beach lifestyle.
Specific duties will include :
- Managing our POS requirements – including preparing banners, lightbox and poster graphics as required (for both retail and wholesale accounts)
- Style line drawings
- Catalogues and Linebooks(requires strong illustrator and in-design skills)
- Ability to source quotes and manage print jobs as required
- Print developments as directed by head designer (strong artistic and Photoshop skills a must)
- Print repeats – ability to put designs into repeat
- Helping to prepare colourways
- Creating story boards as directed
- Web content management (both our wholesale and retail websites) and web concept designing (note web building skills not required as we use developers) – Shopify Plus
- Social media - working with social media co-ordinator
You will need at least 3 years' experience working as a full time graphic artist using illustrator, photoshop and in-design for POS and catalogues etc. You will also have at least 1 years fashion experience, and be highly literate in Photoshop, Illustrator & In-design with strong hand drawing skills.
The role is 40hrs based out in Homebush.
SALARY including super $65K
