Role Overview
Lead cross functional teams across a huge portfolio of different businesses designing compelling, multi-channel customer experiences.
- Be a hands-on design expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through to detailed design
- Inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques and take the lead in meetings and development sessions
- People leadership: Clearly defining roles, responsibilities and expectations to each team member.
- Build to think, create and iterate multi-channel prototypes that enable end to end customer experience (e.g. communications, digital services, call centre transactions, face to face advice conversations, staff incentives, application processes, support systems, branch layout)
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and multi-disciplinary teams across the business to ensure solutions have a viable business case and can feasibly be delivered
- Work well with peers outside of your core skill set, contribute and participate in internal and external networks
- Highly passionate about customer centred design, able to create and articulate compelling service designs to excite the organisation about the design process and future innovations.
- Motivated by a strong sense of empathy with customers and care about delivering great customer outcomes that also make sense from a viability perspective
- Highly developed understanding of customer centred design processes and methodologies
- Excellent communicator and storyteller with strong creative skills, both in generating and visualising ideas.
- Deep experience designing service experiences for a range of customer types and industries. Deep expertise across a range of design tools.
- 5 years’ experience in a customer centred design role from consultancy or service industry
- Track record of successfully developing and ideating, developing and launching new services and a differentiated customer experience
- Practical experience leading customer centric business transformation projects and project management experience.
