Reputable long standing architectural practice are seeking an immediately available ArchiCAD Architect

Your new company
With a reputation for functional & sustainable design solutions, this reputable, long-standing Sydney architectural practice have established themselves as leaders in creating education, health, commercial and civic spaces. After an increase in project pipe-line, they require an immediately available ArchiCAD Architect, for an initial contract start.

Your new role
An initial contract opportunity exists for an experienced ArchiCAD Architect to support a Project Architect, working on complex projects, including education, health, civic and commercial projects You'll be involved in all stages of the project life-cycle; with a primary focus on working through DA and CC documentation Paying $35-55 + Super / hour (equivalent of $60-100K + Super salary - based on years of experience)

What you'll need to succeed

• ArchiCAD proficiency is ESSENTIAL A minimum of > 2 years practical experience working for a firm
• Those with experience in the preparation of documentation across multiple project disciplines, with an advanced working knowledge of ArchiCAD will take preference
• Having a working knowledge of the BCA, Australian Standards, building construction and previous experience in a similar role in Australia will be favourable That said, International Architects with valid Australian working VISA’s (I.e. Working Holiday VISA or Skilled VISA’s), MUST BE ArchiCAD advanced to also qualify to apply
• Good presentation skills and accurate and efficient documentation ability
• Relevant tertiary qualifications Have an ability to work as both part of a team and self-sufficiently
• Accurate, fast and able to prepare drawings of high quality and consistency in detail and notation
• Be able to quickly grasp requirements and implement onto drawings without the need for constant reinforcement This firm is driven to excel, and look for the same level of passion from their employees
• Graduate Architects with practical experience, who are looking to gain all-rounded exposure; from DD, through DA/CC/CA and onsite, so as to go for their registration, are encouraged to apply
