Would you like to learn a trade that makes some of the best products available?
At 1300apprentice we have a client based at Moorebank who is looking for a first year apprentice in Textile Manufacturing to join their team. They are an industry leader in their field and provide exposure to a full range of textile fabricating techniques.
They make products that range from shade sails, blinds and awnings, through tarps, covers and even huge helibanners!
You will learn about CAD software and use plotter cutters, sewing and welding machines across a range of fabrics including shadecloth, canvas, PVC and banner fabrics.
You will learn from very experienced people in the industry and study the qualification (Certificate III in Manufactured Textile Products) at Ultimo TAFE.
Having your own transport and licence would be desirable but not absolutely essential.
