Our Client is one of Melbourne's busiest builders. They specialise in apartment projects ranging in value from $5M through to $40M and work with some of Victoria's best known boutique developers. They are currently enjoying an extended period of buoyancy with over $300M worth of projects currently in delivery.

This level of buoyancy means that they are now looking to employ an up & coming design coordinator to work closely with the Senior Design Manager.

The successful candidate will assist with:

Coordination and management of design documentation and consultants
Progression of design taking into account various budgets and program timelines
Assist during the estimating process with take-offs
Compliance with Client brief and contract requirements
Pre-commencement & site meetings with various site staff, subcontractors, suppliers to discuss design issues

To be considered for this position you will require:

A tertiary qualification in either architecture or construction management
Minimum of two years post-graduate experience working with a leading architecture firm or builder
A proven ability to work to strict deadlines
A working understanding of the design process
A capacity to solve problems and effectively communicate with stakeholders

The successful applicant will be rewarded with a salary between $60,000 - $80,000 dependent on experience from a leading company that prides itself on its positive culture and high staff retention rates.
