This is an exciting career role for a qualified and motivated Commercial Interior Designer!!!

Located in Bayswater, our client is a well-established, leading, Corporate Office Design, Fit-out and Furniture Solutions Company.

They design and create modern and innovative office concept and fit-out solutions for the Corporate and Commercial sectors.

This stand-alone role offers an excellent opportunity for you to stabilise your Commercial Interior Design career as the business continues to grow.

The Company offers complete solutions from workplace layout to Office Furniture including Customised Design, Specification, Project Management and Installation from classic to contemporary design.

The Company operates in partnership with their client"s to design and deliver the best solution outstanding workplace environments.

The role will suit a self-motivated designer who can use their initiative and also self-manage their time.

Hours: Full time Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Salary: In the range of $75,000 to $85,000 + Super (dependent on skills and experience).

Overview of the role and your required experience:Required is a Qualified Interior Designer with experience in modern office spaces including;

• Knowledge and expertise in the area of best practice designs and layouts
• An awareness of current workplace trends and cultures
• The ability to articulate your design philosophy to clients
• A good understanding of BCA requirements and Australian Standards in construction, DDA compliance etc
• Ability to attend site consultation meetings with client"s to determine concept/design/layout requirements etc
• Ability to design concepts, produce space layout plans, 3D renders and full construction and joinery detail plans on the in-house plan templates
• Ability to produce "mood boards" with real material and colour samples for presentation to clients""
• Ability to attend client meetings to clarify the design concepts and methodology

Potentially your role may include full site measures of office spaces ranging from 150m2 to 2000m2.

Preferred experience includes;

• Commercial Office Design
• Activity Based Working (ABW) designs
• Understanding of BCA and Australian Standard requirements
