About the company:
This consultancy has been in operation for over 3 decades. Their modern offices are located in Crows Nest, walking distance to the train station and close to local shops and cafes. They provide Design, Engineering and Project Management Services to private and government clients, on commercial, retail, industrial, residential, fuel and infrastructure projects. They have a strong culture and are a very family oriented team, with most of the team finishing their work at 5pm each day – a refreshing change for those who are sick & tired of being in the office well into the evening on a regular basis.
About the Role:
As the Consultancy Client Liaison, you will be overseeing the work of 5 drafters, reviewing and checking documents, drawings and plans before they are sent to clients. Projects will include retail, commercial, industrial, fuel and design work.
You will manage the client experience, attending meetings, managing correspondence and ensuring a high quality of service.  Your work in this role will directly influence whether clients return to the business or refer others onto the business.
The majority of projects is in Sydney, however we do take on projects nationally and internationally, so there will be occasions where there is opportunity for travel to New Zealand and interstate up to a couple of times a year.
About the Requirements:

• Architectural degree, background or experience
• Prior experience working in a construction, design or engineering consultancy
• Must have indepth knowledge of BCA
• Strong client focus + proven ability to gain the trust of clients
• Expert relationship builder
• Excellent grasp of written and spoken communication
• Previous experience in or exposure to architectural project management will be highly regarded
