Our client is a well known specialist retailer looking for an experienced Product Developer to join their passionate team!

About the role 

The Product Developer will be coordinating and developing new products, in the most cost effective way and to the standards of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with designers to establish requirements and recommendations for the season/range and assisting in the development of samples 
• Plan, coordinate, and develop new products, according to the seasonal calendar
• Research and present new trends 
• Create line drawings, spec sheets, range sheets and line sheets for each range
• Managing relationships with suppliers and evaluating performance
• Coordinate photo shoots and search for models and fit models

To be successful you will have

• Tertiary qualifications in fashion design and technology is highly regarded
• Experience in a similar role, working with raw materials. Preferably working with knitted stretch fabrics.
• Competent in CAD systems such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
• Fantastic communication, negotiation and influencing skills
