We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Design Assistant to join our fabulous team.

We are looking for a special person who has a strong work ethic , clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy – someone who really loves the technical side of sample design/development and understands this role is key to the brands success.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drawing and sketching design spec
- Measuring and fitting samples and accurately recording data
- Logically correcting fit samples in line with the brands requirements
- Set up development boards and assist in the selection of trim and accessories
- Prepare and tag sample ranges for agents
- Assist with website development and maintenance, photos resizing and style information
- Steam samples, assist with photo shoots and catalogue preparation
- Prepare excel order forms checklists and maintain accurately
- Maintain sample worksheets and work to deadlines when required
- Being organized and able to maintain systems and filing procedures
- Ensure the office is presentable at all times by maintaining the office and kitchen cleanliness
- Assisting with administrative and ad-hoc duties when required.
Requirements to fulfill position
- Previous experience in a similar position and well presented.
- You will have tertiary qualifications in fashion and intermediate skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- You understand that office culture and working as part of a team is a key part of the role
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to learn additional software systems quickly and multitask
- Intermediate knowledge and current use of Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Dedicated and the vison to go above and beyond
- Deadline orientated and the ability to work under pressure
- A passion for fashion and lifestyle products – with the ability to relate and design for a diverse range of product and customer
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels.

- The ability to prioritise, maintain office procedures and manage multiple tasks
- Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
