With more first class projects underway Roche Group are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Town Planner to join its Development and Construction Team as Planning Manager located in Double Bay Head Office.
The core responsibilities of this role would include but not be limited to the following:
- Receive and act on instruction from the General Manager - Development in a professional and efficient manner;
- Co-ordinate and oversee preparation of planning proposals, master planning and large scale DAs in support of various mixed use, commercial and major residential subdivision developments;
- Engage and brief consultants across all relevant disciplines in relation to the development projects and critique consultant inputs and recommendations;
- Represent the Company at all necessary meetings with various Government Agencies and/or Council on all development project matters where/when relevant and required;
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the statutory framework that influences and guides development in NSW;
- A strong track record in obtaining rezoning and planning approvals and/or delivering large scale design outcomes;
- Manage and deliver the required outcomes on multiple projects of various scales and complexities;
- Well-developed connections and networks within Government and the property development industry;
- Be a strategic thinker with strong leadership, problem solving, negotiation and relationship skills;
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning is essential; and
- Significant private sector experience will be highly regarded.
Remuneration for this role will be commensurate with experience.
