Are you looking for a short term contract for a couple of months, in AutoCAD interior drafting?
Your new company
Your new employer is a successful Interior Design practice delivering high end projects across bespoke residential, multi-residential, and hospitality projects. This is a great opportunity for an mid-senior Documenter to develop their career within a creative and innovative studio environment.
Your new role
Working as a member of both the Design team, this role will deliver concept design development and construction documentation packages in AutoCAD.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Converting sketches or specifications into detailed AutoCAD documents based on briefs from designers producing a full set of drawings independently resolving any design issues using AutoCAD
- Produce documentation packages to assist in tendering and construction
What you'll need to succeed
You are either a professional documenter or an Interior Designer with a focus on technical documentation. In this fast paced, multidisciplinary practice you will need to be a flexible team member, have a great eye for and enjoy detail and have past experience documenting small to large projects.
In addition, you will:
- Have excellent communication and team work skills
- Be able to work to deadlines and produce accurate documentation to the highest standard supporting and assisting colleagues
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a fair hourly rate based on your experience. This practice don't do long hours but for for this contract role, you might need to put in some over time which of course will be well remunerated. We need you to start ASAP on this on-going assignment.
