Senior Landscape Architect

We are currently recruiting creative and forward thinking Landscape Architects and Senior Landscape Architects to join our Fortitude Valley based team. This is an opportunity for creative designers with 4-10 years’ experience in a landscape architecture or urban design studio to join a dynamic group who contribute to vibrant projects across the country.

The successful applicants will be dynamic and skilful professionals who have passion for great landscape and urban outcomes and the ability to develop relationships with staff, management, key clients and consultants. Candidates should have experience and an understanding of landscape or environmental projects, from concept to detailed design.
 
A salary range up to $95,000 + Super will be considered, commensurate with experience.
 
Specifically your duties will include:

• Landscape design for projects ranging from parklands, sports and recreational facilities, foreshore and waterfront developments, civil and transportation infrastructure, residential developments, and public realm precincts
• Project management and delivery to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Preparation of tender applications, presentations and planning applications
• Design development

 
To be successful, you will display the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design
• AILA professional registration (Registered Landscape Architect) preferred
• A quality portfolio of work that demonstrates your creative ability and understanding of local environments
• A commitment to environmental sustainability and producing innovative and socially responsive designs
• Demonstrated skills in AutoCAD and/or Infraworks
• High quality graphic production is essential
• BIM software experience is an advantage (e.g. Revit and or 3DS Max)
• Demonstrated experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
• Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and graphic)
