An opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate urban planner to grow their profile and professional network, whilst providing leadership direction in our Sydney office.

While this is a full-time position, part-time would be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute and lead the preparation of planning reports, studies and planning projects.
• Management, mentoring and training of junior team members to ensure efficient work practices.
• Management of specialist consultants and their outputs.
• High quality report and fee proposal writing abilities.  
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in urban/town planning or equivalent that is recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
• 6+ years’ experience in the planning industry (NSW experience preferred).
• Thorough understanding of planning legislation, policy and reform directions in NSW.
• Experience in providing statutory and strategic planning advice to public and private clients.
