We are currently seeking a creative interior designer to take up the position as the Product Innovation Specialist - Decor Products for our Building Products Division based at Darra.
Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the incumbent will be responsible identifying, managing and implementing the introduction of new and innovative product ranges for EGR global decor programs.
Your core responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Identifying, managing and implementing launches of our new and innovative product ranges both locally and globally
- Ensuring EGR Decor remains a market leader in décor colours and finishes
- Creating high quality presentations and tools for our sales team
- Pro-actively keeping your finger on the pulse of global décor trends
- Benchmarking EGR Decor collections to other industry leaders
- Understanding the needs of both the sales and operational team to achieve positive results
- Identify and qualify global vendors and suppliers for new décor products and finishes
- Managing the design and introduction of new sampling tools to support the sales and marketing team
- Design and project manage trade exhibition events and stand displays
About you:
- Substantial décor , building product or interior design qualifications or experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, self-driven with excellent attention to detail
- Industry experience in the kitchen, bathroom, building products and interior design is highly preferable
- Excellent digital presentation skills
- Project management experience preferably using a stage gate product development process
- Goal oriented and well-organised
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Able to manage several programs at simultaneously
- Open to travel as required
- Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible and resilient
