Environmental Health Solutions is a NATA accredited Occupational Hygiene Consulting company based in Geelong, but servicing clients in Melbourne and Regional Victoria.  Our mission is to be the leading provider of premium occupational hygiene, health, safety and environmental consulting services in Australia and Internationally.

We are seeking to employ a Project Coordinator to assist in providing our clients with the superior service they have come to expect from our company.

 

The successful candidate's main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and schedule jobs and site visits for consultants
  • A willingness to gain a practical understanding of the technical aspects of the Occupational Hygiene industry.
  • Supporting the projects team, achieving contractual obligations and project objectives
  • Taking phone calls and client queries and actioning as appropriate
  • Preparation of word and excel documents and associated reports.
  • Quality checking and proof reading of documents
  • Maintain document filing system and control
  • Assisting and providing support to consultants and team members
  • Provision of quotes for clients.

A background in the Occupational Hygiene industry will be looked upon favorably, but not essential.  A strong OHS focus is necessary, as is the ability to work as part of a dedicated team.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and make pragmatic decisions to meet objectives
  • Disciplined work approach including the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated
  • A willingness to learn the 'hands on' aspects of some jobs to enable a better understanding of our industry

A current driver's license and Working With Children Check is required.
