About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to really make the role their own. You will have excellent Microsoft Office skills, previous office management experience in a corporate environment and a positive approach to teamwork. The role is part time, approximately 20 hours per week and would suit someone looking to work within school hours.

  • Ensure the smooth running of the office and be the go-to person for all administrative matters
  • Manage international and domestic travel arrangements
  • Manage diaries including meetings, conferences and video conferences
  • Monitor and purchase stationery and other office supplies
  • Book/arrange courses and functions and other professional development/marketing opportunities
  • Manage petty cash float and receipts
  • Process the Managing Director's AMEX receipts
  • MYOB - input data and generate reports
  • Process expense claims for the broader team
  • Maintain reports for the weekly WIP meeting
  • Project manage corporate events
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral eg. signage, credentials, promotional products
  • Assist with website maintenance and digital mailing
  • Maintain contact databases
  • Some formatting of documents
  • Assist in the recruitment, induction and set up of new staff

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience supporting a broad team across a range of levels within the organisation
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
  • Attention to detail - thoroughness in accomplishing a task
  • Show initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and maintain performance under pressure
