The Company

This company work with 2nd, 3rd and 4th home builders, as well as sell investment and homes in estates. Not only are the home designs beautifully finished, the top priority is to give exceptional customer care.

We are looking for someone who has at least 6 months experience within new home builders to join us, otherwise real estate, strata or home insurance builders is a good parallel.

The Role

Is titled a Pre-Construction Administrator. You will report to the Team Leader who is a very kind, knowledgeable and supportive manager. With strong team training, you will have those around you to answer questions, and give advice! If you have done the role before, you will be trusted to work autonomously and given responsibility.

The new role will involve:

• Work with 30 -40 customer files at a time. Communicate regularly on the progress of their new home build
• A lot of the work will be phone based, though you will meet customers face to face in the office
• Contract manage from sale signing through to construction, work with council, private certifiers and other internal departments
• Build and maintain strong and welcoming relationships with customers
• Work to resolve issues and conflict - customers can be very emotionally involved - having empathy and helping to provide solutions are a big part of this role
• Liaise with various internal departments and external authorities to amend documents

You will be working in a team of around 10 administrators, then alongside drafting, estimating, colour consultants and construction. What You Need

You will ideally have the following criteria:

• Previous experience at a new homes builder, council applications or private certifier is perfect
• Longevity in a customer service role (2 -3 years ideally)
• Previous experience within a high volume administration role, such as property management or building facilities, home insurance claims
• Well presented and professional
• Proactive qualities and ability to work autonomously
• Outgoing, friendly personality will see you settle in very quickly!
