ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working within our Energy Division this role will be responsible for the development project schedules and detailed plans as required for both tender submissions and awarded projects within the business. The successful candidate will be located on our Liddell Site in Bennetts Green.



DUTIES

Project Development:

  • Participate and support project opportunities with Sales / Business Development.
  • Develop:

- the WBS (work breakdown structure), agree project logistics and develop proposal schedule.

- a resource schedule for the project and in association with RCR HR, ensure all IR issues have been addressed

  • Lead the project implementation process post award of the contract for the proposal schedule.
  • Provide project planning and scheduling services to support the sales / business development process.
  • Complete all compliance and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate any 3rd party responses including subcontractors.
  • Support sales / business development throughout the proposal presentation and negotiation phases.



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Is sufficiently experienced in Primavera 6 and MS Project.

  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience in the Power, Petrochemical, Mining or Manufacturing industries. The individual must have undertaken scheduling for large scale and complex projects

  • Has excellent computer skills, and is familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.

  • Able to report using Earned Value Tools

  • Have excellent skills to use and run Primavera - P6

  • Excellent report writing skills

  • Be disciplined to meet and exceed milestone dates

  • Be flexible in work approach
