Our client is a multifaceted Facility Services Organisation based in Macquarie Park.

The company service Government and Corporate clients with a range of Programmed Maintenance Services including: Trades, Cleaning, Fire and Maintenance services.

With 300+ sites across greater Sydney & a proud Indigenous Facility Services partner business servicing SA, NT and national clients. The company is undergoing rapid growth and presents an opportunity for a career minded candidate to support Indigenous staff, provide support to the senior management team and have a hands on approach to operations. 

 

About the role

An exciting career opportunity currently exists for a People & Culture Operations Support candidate seeking an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and support daily HR operations for sites across Australia and work supporting the groups Indigenous Facility Services

  • Provide administrative support to both Senior Management and Operational Staff in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency and ensuring all site / manager requests are met in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating processing of Payroll for wage employees
  • Maintain computer-based records management systems
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings for senior management
  • Liaise with senior management and People & Culture on matters relating to Human Resources, Risk Analysis, Recruitment, Inductions, Payroll etc.
  • Submit invoices for payment
  • Liaise with CSM's, contractors and clients to ensure smooth running of any accounts/invoicing/admin issues
  • Assist on mobilising new contracts by putting together start up packs, printing books, collating safety data sheets, etc.,
  • Liaise between new contractors and Finance team to ensure invoicing is done correctly
  • Record minutes for management meetings
  • Type up scopes and assist with tenders
  • General printing, binding, document collating as required
  • Staff and contractor induction
  • Maintain training registers and spread sheets for training sessions held
  • Staff expenses and reimbursements

Skills and experience

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Someone with a trade background or used to dealing with trades, subcontractors and operations teams would be ideal 
  • Computer proficiency; ability to understand and adapt to in house technology system
  • Receive and relay information, follow routine instructions
  • Ability to work independently with general direction from leadership
  • Ability to understand and apply existing and potential technologies to support business performance outcomes

  • Apply clear and effective written and verbal communication
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good time management skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work to multiple deadlines
