Northline is Australia's supply chain specialist operating an integrated national logistics network in major cities and remote locations throughout the country and employ over 500 staff nationally.

There is an exciting opportunity to join our Specialised Quotes Team based at our National Service Centre located in Norwood, on the Parade.

Reporting to the Special Quotes Manager, this Permanent, Full Time position will be responsible for providing quotations, direction and advice on all operational and costing requirements as per Northline's guidelines.

You will be responsible for;

  • Providing quotes to all internal and external clients;
  • Ensuring full comprehension on operational method and ensure appropriate communication through key stakeholders and operational staff;
  • Maintaining accurate and relevant activity reports;
  • Ensuring all freight tasks quotes meet Northline operational capabilities and profitability expectations, and;
  • Providing technical support and explanation to operations staff on execution of tasks.

You will:

  • Be an outcomes/ results driven professional, with demonstrated ability to achieve set KPI's and targets;
  • Have the drive and ambition – the desire to not only meet but exceed targets and KPI's;
  • Have a sound understanding of the transport industry including modes and methodologies;
  • Have the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting duties;
  • Have outstanding customer service skills and the ability o build a strong rapport with all stakeholders;
  • Have the ability to work well both autonomously and within a team;
  • Have exceptional problem solving skills;
  • Have proven successful sales and quoting experience;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and'
  • Have a positive and pleasant telephone technique.
