We are a small organisation engaged in various investing activities. We are prominently involved in property and share investments but also in other business investments.
We require an individual to be involved in the administrative duties, accounts management and investment overseeing. Our broad-based multi-faceted role will stimulate you and reward you equally. It has a bit of everything in it – from the routine and regular, to the challenging and exciting.
Duties include but are certainly not limited to:
- Overseeing our administration, bookkeeping and accounts activities, from the basic to the advanced
- Overseeing and managing investments
- Cash flow analysis and financial budgeting for quarterly reports
- Providing financial and business reports for key stakeholders
- Moderate amounts of AR & AP, including basic cash flow management and payments
- Basic Payroll, Bank Reconciliation
To be considered:
- Have a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or business
- Ability to work both independently and show initiative
- 2+ years experience in another business or in an accounting firm is preferred but not essential
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in dealing with stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills
- A working knowledge of MYOB or other accounting software
- Ability to provide cash flow analysis and financial budgets
