The latest opportunity to join the team is as an Project Officer -Retirement Living.

The Project Officer is responsible for providing administration support to the Executive Manager Retirement Living (EMRL) and the Retirement Living Management Team. This includes the coordination of accreditation requirements, review of policies and procedures, conducting surveys, report writing and organising meetings. The Project Officer further assists the EMRL in the preparation of business development proposals for the consideration of the Goodwin Executive, Board sub-Committees and the Goodwin Board. This includes conducting market research, data analyses and writing of high quality papers.

Key performance indicators:

  • Preparation of  business development proposals, with input provided by EMRL, and other Executives as required, including for site acquisition and new business models.
  • Conduct research for example on demographics, real estate market and industry trends.
  • Assistance with the development of new business models.
  • Prepare executive reports, with input provide by retirement living management team.
  • Prepares correspondence and prepare briefing packs, reports and papers.
  • Correspond with residents, family members, resident committees and other client stakeholders as required.
  • Coordinate effective meetings by organising and collating meeting agendas, providing minute taking and distribution and coordinating follow up actions.
  • Attend meetings with resident committees and residents on a regular basis.
  • Conduct resident satisfaction surveys to improve the provision of services to residents.
  • Assistance with presentations and events, such as community events, village open days and expos.
  • Manage and coordinate accreditation of the Retirement Living business unit.
  • Ensure all administrative processes are carried out accurately and in a timely manner

Selection criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Qualifications in business management or office administration. 
  • Working knowledge of legislation affecting retirement villages.
  • Prior experience in the implementation of systems & procedures.
