Job tasks and responsibilities
We are a fast growing Freight Forwarder based in Caringbah. We are in need of a suitably trained individual to join the team in a role offering autonomy and ongoing career opportunities. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your main tasks include:
- Supporting the day to day needs of Management
- Diary and appointment management
- Preparing detailed itineraries and agendas
- Greeting visitors and clients of the business
- Handling and directing all inbound calls
- Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send
- Processing client requests as required
- Booking couriers, building maintenance, coordinating deliveries
- Organising Business Trips for Management
- Maintaining appearance of office area
- Other ad hoc administration as required
Skills and experience
In order for your application to be considered, you will possess all of the following qualities:
- Exceptional organisation skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task.

- A professional yet personable approach.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Great initiative.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Applications
- Several years of relevant experience in a similar role is required
- Experience within Freight Forwarding Industry is preferred, but not essential.
