THE ROLE

The role will appeal to a proactive individual with an ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. The successful candidate should have a desire to work closely with their Director / Principal to develop the business and embrace the challenge of establishing relationships and setting up meetings with new clients. Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to prioritise, problem-solve as well as have strong attention to detail and good customer service attitude. Managing diaries to align with clients' busy schedules will require diplomacy coupled with tenacity. Being organised, efficient and self-motivated is a necessity. 

Key Responsibilities: - 

  • Diary management - anticipate Director needs and proactively team up with your Director to ensure you give them the most possible leverage for their time
  • Travel organization and logistics (flights, travel, car rentals, etc.
  • Expense management 
  • Support Director with Business Development (BD) activities including: Follow up on introductory emails and determine best approach to secure meetings |with new contacts (calls, email etc) | * Regular review of existing contacts and follow-up to schedule meetings | * Weekly review of BD activities with Director to determine priorities and problem solve issues
  • Update and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Salesforce) 
  • Proposal support - document preparation, compilation, proofreading, printing and binding
  • People Development activities - support the Director to deliver on their Development Leader and people management responsibilities.

 

THE CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

You will be highly organized, a good influencer, professional and comfortable liaising with a diverse range of people including prospective and current clients and their Executive Assistants. In addition, your other strengths include; having exceptional interpersonal skills, a mature approach, an ability to analyse and problem-solve as well as sharp attention to detail with a strong customer focus. This terrific opportunity will appeal to professionals who are highly energetic and enjoy a busy role.

Essential Requirements include:-

  • 10+ years' experience providing senior Executive Assistant  (EA) support at Director/GM/Head of level 
  • Demonstrate stability in your employment history
  • Proficient in MS Office using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel essential
  • Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) 
  • Good relationship building and maintaining skills 
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database ideally Salesforce would be highly regarded (training will be provided if not). 
  • Industry Sector experience: prior experience working in the Professional Services industry sector (i.e. 1st/2nd tier accounting firms, legal firms) would be highly regarded. If not, we would consider prior experience gained within blue chip organisations.
