As the Front of House Concierge you will be the first point of contact on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield for both residents and visitors. Responsible for delivering and supervising workplace services ensuring exceptional resident and visitor experiences for every interaction.  You will focus on anticipating needs, listening to the resident and guests and making the interaction simple, effective and quick.   We need a team player who has a positive outlook and a can-do attitude to find solutions quickly and efficiently.
 
About the role:
  • Guide visitors to the relevant waiting lounge or meeting room and inform host of the visitors arrival
  • Manage individual and group inboxes responding to email queries promptly
  • Maintain the front of house/reception area and adjacent services such as meeting rooms and maintain a high standard of presentation in waiting areas, entrances, collaboration space, kitchen and lounge areas
  • Add front of house information, procedures to central share point location as appropriate
  • Participate in articles and provide content for the 385 Bourke Street Newsletter for items that relate to Front of House to inform employees
  • Log tenancy facility maintenance jobs that occur in the front of house/reception, meeting rooms, entrances, collaboration space, kitchen and lounge areas (this excludes meeting room
    Technology/Polycomm)
  • Provide effective support and guidance to employees on the location of advice and procedural guidelines to assist with meeting room booking requests
    Assist with building tours as required and provide support with specialised room set-up/pack downs including advice on external contractors to assist as required
  • Distribute mail items throughout building and sort as required into utility bay pigeon holes or
    allocated pick up points throughout the tenancy
  • Coordinate the delivery of bulk deliveries such as marketing materials and adhoc, stationery items but directing external delivery representatives to applicable storage area
About you:
  • Experience in a reception or front line information exchange within a corporate or hospitality environment
  • An effective telephone manner
  • Good written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A common sense approach to problem solving
  • Working effectively with team/work groups or those outside formal line of authority (eg. peers, senior managers) to accomplish goal
  • Good coordination skills to balance competing and conflicting priorities and demands.
  • Energetic, anticipate demands and be proactive within the scope of the role
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office Suite
