At present, we have an opening for a Receptionist, based out of our stunning and conveniently located Head Office in North Sydney.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality of secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the business.
 
About the position:
  • Ensure that the Reception Area is maintained and presents a positive first impression of the company
  • Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure that all visitors sign in 
  • Record and promptly distribute telephone messages
  • Coordinate problem resolution and servicing requirements relative to the switchboard, telephone systems, facsimile equipment and photocopiers
  • Provide general support services to the P&C Operations Manager as requested
  • Provide support to the P&C team
  • Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the P&C Operations Manager
 The ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 3-5+ years? experience as a receptionist or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and priorities demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
  • Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access, email
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be energetic with a positive can do attitude
  • Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology
