Your Opportunity

In this role you will provide administrative support to management and staff.  Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist in managing reception areas, including handling phone calls, responding to enquiries and attending to visitors
  • Preparation of correspondence, reports, charts, agendas and presentations as required 
  • Provision of project administrative support as required
  • Undertake a variety of administrative tasks including ordering office stationary and equipment as required, inventory, log books, invoicing, data entry, file and staff record management and coordination of mail
  • Manage and process payroll, petty cash, purchase orders and accounts payable

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role and team environment
  • Experience with financial systems and procedures, including petty cash and accounts payable
  • Knowledge of current office technology and equipment including computer packages such as the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, customer service, organisational, time management and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use your initiative and to problem solve
  • Certificate in Business Administration is desirable

As part of our Employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.

In addition there is a requirement to possess a current Working with Children check or apply if you do not already hold one. It is unlawful for prohibited persons to apply for work with children, and, as such, prohibited persons cannot apply for this role.
