We are seeking an Estates Administrator to coordinate the timely and accurate administration of estates to support the organisation's strategic objectives and operational goals. This position may be filled in a full time or part time capacity (minimum of 28 hours per week).

In this role you will have the following responsibilities, among others:

  • Timely and accurate administration of estates;
  • Liaise with executors/solicitors to ensure all relevant information is obtained;
  • Process bequest payments and liaise with the finance department;
  • Manage the progress of outstanding estates in conjunction with the Legal Counsel;
  • Produce reports and coordinate recognition of bequests; and
  • Participate in events as required.

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a legal setting;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, coupled with good negotiation skills;
  • Superior organisation skills, be flexible and ability to effectively prioritise tasks;
  • A friendly and professional manner with the ability to maintain client confidentiality;
  • Exemplary accuracy and attention to detail; and
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite and using customer relationship management systems (databases).
