About the role

You will provide administration support for our Williamtown NSW site, including but not limited to: reception, reports, filing, record keeping, general administration, data entry, library maintenance, logistic support for customer units, repair parts and services for customers and Sub-Contractors.

Some other administrative functions will include; receiving and dispatching parts, ordering materials and consumables, checking consumables and parts inventory and creating jobs. Whilst maintaining a complete, current and accessible technical library, (including Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Company Journals; Training Materials, Technical Manual Amendment Request Form and miscellaneous publications) to support regulatory and quality approvals for the Newcastle site.

You will assist the Stores Team leader in the cyclic stocktake and general housekeeping as well as maintain supplies for workshop functions through routine checks and regular restocking (office stationery, kitchen supplies, conference or training supplies as required).

The ideal candidate will develop and maintain knowledge of and adhere to the Site Quality, Safety Management and EH&S policies and other compliance requirements and have a track record of compliance adherence, including EHS and regulatory requirements in all activities.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a proven commitment to learning and mastering new tasks, as this role includes a variety of different responsibilities on a day to day basis. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with customer, suppliers, sub-contractors and freight forwarders as well as being able to work in a small team and independently.

Some other skills will include:

  • Aviation industry knowledge and exposure to an aeronautical workshop environment will be well regarded
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
